Hose life can be drastically shortened if the hose isn’t compatible with the fluid being transferred. Unlike neoprene tubes, nitrile tubes can handle both petroleum and biodegradable hydraulic fluids. Industrial hose made of PTFE or Fluoroethylenepropylene (FEP) has excellent chemical resistance.
